A dance rehearsal room
We began in the practice room and at dance competitions — where the crew learnt to tell a story with the body, with music and with light.
Đông Nam Á Entertainment & Events — a crew that grew up in dance and music shows, staging events with a story behind them in Da Nang and across central Vietnam.
Đông Nam Á Events is an event production company working in Da Nang and central Vietnam: full-service events and creative work — content production, performers for hire, venue and equipment rental.
What makes the work ours: a crew that grew up in dance and music shows, so every event carries a story — and Flyboard shows staged on equipment the company owns.
An event is not a row of line items bolted together. It is a piece of theatre — it has an opening, a climax, a finale, and a story strong enough for the audience to retell the next day.
How Đông Nam Á Events looks at a programme
We began in the practice room and at dance competitions — where the crew learnt to tell a story with the body, with music and with light.
From single acts onto the main stage: music edits, choreography, running open-air shows — we learnt the event trade on our own show nights.
One point of contact for the whole life cycle of a programme, with the original creative core intact: an in-house choreography and music team.
Đông Nam Á Entertainment & Events is a full-service event production company based in Da Nang, on Vietnam’s central coast. We take on the whole life cycle of a programme: the first brief, the idea, the design, the staging build, show-night coordination, and the handover of media assets once the guests have gone home. In 10 years we have delivered more than 500 events for more than 200 corporate clients. We also bring one set piece to coastal events: the Flyboard show — water-jet performance staged on our own equipment, flown by a long-term partner network of riders we select and direct.
Most of what goes wrong on show night is not caused by missing kit. It happens in the gaps between suppliers: the host’s script does not match the lighting crew’s cue list, the audio team loads in half a day ahead of the stage crew, and nobody owns the three minutes of changeover between two acts. The more parties on the job, the more joins — and joins are where a programme comes apart.
We answer that by taking the programme as a whole, on one schedule and one script. For the client, the biggest change is not the price. It is the number of calls it takes when one item has to change: one call, instead of five.
A Flyboard show is a performance flown on water-jet equipment: the rider lifts off the surface of the sea to music, following a routine written for that event, with lighting effects carrying the climax. The equipment is ours, and the riders are a long-term partner network we select and direct. That is what lets us build the act around each brand’s message instead of touring one fixed routine.
For a resort grand opening, a beach festival or an outdoor music night, the Flyboard show is usually the moment guests bring up most often afterwards. It is the reason we run it as a service group of its own rather than folding it into general entertainment.
Every programme, large or small, moves through the same six stages: taking the brief and running the site survey; building the concept and narrative; writing the script and the detailed plan; production, staging and final rehearsal; show-night coordination; then sign-off and the handover of media assets. Each stage has its own clearly defined deliverables, so you always know what you are receiving and who is accountable for it — see every stage with its timings.
The stage we hold on to most tightly is the second. A programme without a narrative is only a row of acts standing side by side: the guests watch it and then have nothing to retell. So before anyone opens a conversation about the stage or the kit, one question has to be answered in full — what story does tonight tell?
We are at our strongest on large-scale programmes along the coast and the rivers of Da Nang — the part of central Vietnam where the weather, the ground conditions and the paperwork demand hands-on experience, not just a good-looking drawing. The sea breeze turns in the afternoon, and that changes how a backdrop is hung and where the speakers point. Sand does not hold stage legs the way a concrete yard does. A 20-minute shower can erase the entire climax if the contingency plan has not been rehearsed beforehand.
Hand the same concept to a build crew that knows the terrain of central Vietnam and to a team arriving for the first time, and the two will handle those details in completely different ways. It is also why we run the site survey in the very first stage, before any idea is locked in — see our five service groups and the projects we have delivered to see how we put a programme together.
The four units above are our own people: creative, stage engineering, site coordination and the Flyboard riding team. The performers on stage — singers, dancers, hosts, guest artists — belong to a partner network that we select ourselves and that works to our staging standards.
Venues (indoor arenas, hotel ballrooms, restaurants) and staging equipment — sound, lighting, LED screens, marquees — are surveyed, sourced and hired by us for each individual programme. The Flyboard equipment belongs to the company itself.
You are not left stitching separate suppliers together. One person stays with you from the first brief to the handover of the media.
Stage, sound, lighting, performers and logistics all run on the same calendar — change one item and the whole schedule is updated with it.
The site director runs the evening from the cue list. If something goes wrong it is settled there and then, with no job being passed between contractors.
Da Nang and Central VietnamWhere we take on events
The site survey sits in the very first stage of every project — before an idea is locked in, we measure the ground, the power supply and the access routes, and work out the weather plan at the place the programme will actually happen.
Tell us the objective and the scale of your programme — the Đông Nam Á Events team replies within 24 working hours with a first idea.
